The new Zimbali Lakes Resort is set to create a new benchmark in the property market of Southern Africa. Destined to provide in excess of 12 500 jobs and to further elevate the global reputation of Zimbali as a whole, the Lakes development is the biggest investment into the area since the launch of the Fairmont Zimbali Hotel precinct.
Set within close proximity to golden beaches and adjoining the multi-international award winning Zimbali Coastal Resort, the R7 billion Zimbali Lakes Resort development comprises 300 undulating hectares and is bordered on the South by the meandering Tongati River and Zimbali Lake. Furthermore, a state-of-the art driving range and golfing academy will add a unique golfing experience to what is the first Gary Player Signature Design project on the KwaZulu-Natal coast.
The design philosophy that is to be employed on the Gary Player Signature Golf Course comprises a blend of traditional design principles and modern technology, with a strong emphasis on environmental sensitivity.
